Northside Grocer is us, husband-and-wife duo Greg and Emma. 

Greg is a trained chef whose culinary journey started in 1993 at Melbourne’s renowned France Soir, and Emma is an events management whizz with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. 

We’re both super passionate about fresh, delicious, home-cooked meals.

Our baby, Northside Grocer, came to life after we fell in love over shared plates and gourmet treats delivered to our doorstep during Melbourne’s 2020 lockdowns (yes, COVID did have a silver lining!). What if we could combine our talents and offer our local Preston community the joy of great food without the hassle?  

Making memories over shared meals is part of our family’s DNA. Greg’s three laughter-filled kids inspire us daily with their love for exploring new flavours, making them our harshest (and most honest) food critics. If they like our meals, we know we’re on a winner!
