This Apple Pie Sourdough Bread Pudding is the ultimate comfort dessert, made from the same dough as my Apple & Cinnamon Hot Cross Buns but baked into a Sandwich loaf. The bread is soaked in a creamy custard and laced with a homemade apple pie filling. Baked to perfection, it's soft, warming and packed with cozy flavours - preservative free and gut friendly. Comes with a Butterscotch sauce to drizzle over. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or custard, perfect for any occasion.

Apple, Eggs, Milk, Cooking Cream Thickened (Milk), Water, Brown Sugar, Butter (Milk), White Sugar, Plain Flour (Wheat), Cinnamon, Vanilla Extract, Nutmeg, Ginger, Allspice, Bakers Flour (Wheat), Sourdough Starter (Wheat), Choc Cinnamon Flavoured Baking Chips (Milk)

Preparation and storage notes

Store in fridge for up to 4 days. Can be frozen. To reheat, preheat oven to 170C, cover with foil to prevent from drying out and bake for 10-20 minutes until warmed through. For a quicker option, reheat in a microwave safe dish, cover with a damp paper towel or cling film and heat on medium power for 1-2minutes until warmed through.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard and drizzle with caramel sauce.
