Pulled pork carnitas

Slow-cooked the traditional way, our pork shoulder is gently braised with orange, lime, garlic, and spices until tender enough to fall apart. We then crisp it up just before serving for that perfect balance of juicy and caramelized. Serve it with rice, in tacos, or alongside a fresh salsa and a squeeze of lime for a bright, effortless meal packed with authentic Mexican flavor.

Pork, Orange, Mexican Oregano, Onion, Extra virgin olive oil, Jalapeno, Garlic, Salt, Cumin seeds, Black pepper

Preparation and storage notes

Carnitas are best served crispy! Defrost pork overnight

Pan- Spread pork into a pan with a very small amount of oil and sauté till golden brown on the edges

Grill- Use an oven proof dish and place under medium hot grill for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve in your favorite taco, bun or over whole baked sweet potato with fresh salsa, avocado, and a lightly flavored cheese like feta.
